The Linden Flat

Our clients — a writer and a ceramicist — wanted their rented Edwardian flat to finally feel like theirs, without touching the walls they couldn't change. The answer was color, textiles and a carefully edited collection of art.

Oxblood linen, slate blue velvet and a sage-washed palette bring warmth to tall, pale rooms. We built freestanding shelving that moves with them, and commissioned three works from emerging Bay Area artists.
