Atelier Nine — A neighborhood café that turns into a candlelit wine bar after dark.
The project

Atelier Nine needed to work twice: bright and efficient for the morning rush, then warm and intimate by seven. We designed one room with two moods — a deep green lacquered bar, tobacco leather banquettes and a lighting plan that dims in layers.

Custom brass sconces, a terrazzo counter poured with local stone, and a long communal table carry the space from coffee to natural wine. Every surface was chosen to age well under heavy use.
